Mark Amure

Mark was involved with the writing of the LTA Science of Tennis CD-ROM, and was employed at the time at Cambridge University Faculty of Education as a writer.

Mark Amure is a professionally trained astronomer with a PhD in astrophysics. He has been involved in teaching since 1998 when he voluntarily ran an 'introduction to astronomy' series of classes at a local sixth form college. Mark has tutored postgraduates, demonstrated experimental procedures to undergraduates, lectured to fellow astronomers and taught science in secondary schools to pupils aged 11 – 16. He is also a keen tennis player.
